The every Wednesday Hamilton Street 5th Car Show will have a special night on May 14, 2008 from 6-9PM with “The Huggers,” the hottest musical trio of New Jersey. Sponsored by the Hamilton Street Business & Community Corporation (HSBCC) the car show is being held at Nora’s Shopping Center located at 621 Hamilton Street, within the first Special Improvement District of Franklin Township, Somerset County.
The Hamilton Street Farmers Market in the Somerset section of Franklin Township will have its 7th anniversary opening this Saturday May 3, at 9:00 am until 2:00 P.M. at John’s Plaza located at 720 Hamilton Street. In the spirit of community involvement, Hamilton St. Business & Community Corporation (HSBCC), the Farmers Market’s sponsor has coordinated the effort with the Franklin Township Food Bank to be available that day to collect food and hand out literature about their programs.People visiting the Farmer’s Market are encouraged to either bring non-perishable food items or to purchase additional produce and donate to the Food Bank.
